Rhoda Garland married George Bagg at Owermoigne on the 11th of August 1833. They were both baptised at the parish church: George on the 30th December 1810 and Rhoda was privately baptised on the 23rd of November 1813 and publicly on the 26th of December 1813 – suggesting that she did not have a good start in life. Rhoda was the daughter of Robert and Anne Garland and George was the son of John and Frances Bagg. Rhoda died in October 1889 and George passed away within the year; they are buried at Owermoigne.
